Almost TWO!

Isabel is almost two years old!! Boy... have our lives changed a lot in just two short years. And although some of the changes are sad (when was the last time we saw a movie in the theatre? Or slept in until 10 o' clock?) Mostly all the changes have been for the better.

I think becoming a parent can test your patience, cause anxiety, and tear at your heart strings... but at the same time it shows you that you can love with a fierceness and depth that is simply amazing. It makes you thankful  for all of the blessings God has given you and and it gives you purpose- a reason to live for more than yourself. I really had no idea how much I would love my daughter until I met her. But the crazy thing is that I only grow to love her more and more with every passing day. She is a part of Jason and I - we can't imagine what our life was like before she was in it!! Isabel brings us such Joy!

Okay......... just feeling kind of mushy tonight.

Now on to some pictures.... Here is Bel at approx. 24 months. (We haven't gone anywhere or done anything very exciting lately so the picture taking opportunities have been scarce.)

Num... yogurt. This toddler is very fickle! One day she loves a certain food/book/movie- The next day it is old news. Case in point, "Cars" is so totally OUT and "Toy Story" is so totally IN. I can't keep up.

The little artist loves to color, paint, and especially GLUE.

Sometimes... she chooses the wrong canvas. We were not happy to find these stickers on our table.
