Week 10- Not the Greatest

Bell doesn't look too happy in this picture and that kind of sums up what Week 10 has been like for us. On Monday we went to the pediatrician for her 2 month apt. The good news was that Isabel has been steadily growing and gaining weight (11 pounds 14 ounces, and 23 1/2 inches long). The bad news was that the doctor tested her diaper an still found that it had blood and mucous in it. Her stool continues to be very loose and she is fussy, crying, and arching with most feedings. Cutting ALL dairy from my diet for over three weeks hasn't seemed to make any difference. We are pretty much at a loss so we are going to see a pediatric GI doctor Monday. Hopefully we can get some answers. To make matters worse, Isabel had all of her vaccines on Monday and was VERY unhappy for the next two days. She ran a fever, didn't sleep well and had some vomiting. Now she is seeming more like herself again but we seem to have lost all of the progress we made when it comes to sleeping at night. She is waking up again at least two times per night and her mommy is VERY tired. Let's hope that Week 11 goes much more smoothly.

I think she misses her Aunt Debby. Give her some "sugar" for me and tell her I love her.
Hope she feels better soon.
I miss you guys too.

God Bless and Love,
Debby
